Fat Loss Factor

Dr. Charles Livingston’s Fat Loss Factor – Our Thoughts, Reviews and Analysis of This Popular Weight Loss Program

One of the many high profile diet and weight loss programs that has continued to gain more and more popularity over the last year or so is The Fat Loss Factor. The program was thought up and put together by Dr. Charles Livingston, along with his wide.

We took the time to go through the material beginning to end. Here are details of what you can expect to find if you purchase, as well as our full review of the content if you’re currently wondering “does it work”.

We liked
  • How comprehensive the program is
  • The "Why" of each healthy habit
  • The great book layout
We didn't like
  • The lack of source citation
  • The lack of structure
Summary: If you are after quite rapid weight loss, are prepared to change your eating patterns significantly, and are fairly sure you can stay on track on the first two weeks of detox, then the Fat Loss Factor certainly has plenty of positive reviews and should work for you too.

What is the Fat Loss Factor ?

This e-book, Fat Loss Factor, helps you burn away the fat you don’t want while still allowing you to enjoy delicious foods–or so I think, because there is no introduction to the e-book.
There is no detailed explanation on the website either, so it’s tough to know what the program is all about without jumping right into it.

What is included in the Fat Loss Factor Package ?

One thing the marketing material over at the fat loss factor doesn't do very well is describing everything you're getting for your money. We've managed to collect some material describing each item you get when you buy the fat loss factor.
As you will see bellow, Dr. Charles Livingston provides you with a mix of ebooks, software, videos, step by step guides and email coaching.
That's one thing I really enjoyed with the course: the plurality of the medium types and the fact that they're well adapted to what you need out of them.
For example when it comes to theory, I found the ebook format was well suited so I could sit down somewhere quiet and really suck the knowledge out of it.
When it comes to cooking, the videos were nice and showed me exactly how to do everything in real life. No lousy descriptions here.
The fast food software was convenient. The last thing I want to do when I'm about to get out for food is scour through a pdf. The search engine provided was much more practical and let me decide what I was going to eat in the rare cases I was going out to eat.
Finally the how to guides and animated workout guides were simple to follow and check out on my phone when going to the gym so overall, great package.
Finally the email coaching is nice if there is something you need to know and they did not cover in the content of the course. I used it twice and the reply came in within 48h from a member of the team over at Dr Charle's Clinic.
Email support is one of these things that many people will hesitate to use out of shyness. Don't. It's a great add on and you can really share your personal situation with them and get individualised feedback. Not bad for the price!

Principle #1: Prepare for Success

This chapter lists the items you’ll need for success on the Fat Loss Factor journey.
  • Scale
  • Journal
  • Measuring tape
  • Digital camera
  • Calipers (optional)
Dr. Livingston then instructs you to snap a picture of yourself in the before stage, take your measurements, weigh yourself, and record the information in your fitness journal. Simple and easy!

Principle #2: Out with the Old, In with the New

This section of the book promises ten results you should see by going through the Fat Loss Factor diet:
  1. Loss of excess weight
  2. Elimination of harmful toxins (that result in the shrinkage of your fat cells)
  3. Strengthened immune system
  4. Greater energy
  5. Sharpened mind
  6. Increased endurance
  7. More accomplishments
  8. Better sleep
  9. Improved overall health and wellbeing
  10. New relationship with food
If the program can deliver all that it promises, it’s definitely worth its metaphorical weight in gold!

Principle #3: Lifestyle Un-Diet

This section is a bit confusing to understand, but it does give some very important details about your body and healthy weight loss.
It claims that your excessive body fat is caused by three things:
  1. Incorrect diet
  2. Poorly functioning liver
  3. Clogged colon
While this is 100% true, we couldn't help but noticing that the method does not talk about genetics at all which seems to be playing a big role in how easily your body becomes fat.

Phases
Fat Loss Factor is broken down into two main phases, each one with a clearly defined objective.
The first one is the detox phase that entails thorough detoxification. This phase lasts two weeks in which you’re restricted to a diet of organic foods and water only. According to Dr. Livingston, your liver will be cleansed of all toxins during this phase. Recommended foods include beets, garlic, carrots, grapefruit, and green tea, among others. You’re also supposed to take lots of fluids particularly water.
Although organic foods are slightly pricier than inorganic foods, the difference is really small when compared to what you might have to pay in case of bad health.
The author claims that besides eliminating toxins from your body, this phase is aimed at helping you revitalize energy levels in your body.
The second phase is the real fat loss phase that lasts ten weeks. In this period, you’re required to follow a tried and tested workout regime that mainly involves strength and interval training. When you’re done with the ten weeks, you should be able to notice a significant change in your weight. However, this is not the end as you’re required to keep u with the nutrition plan as well as the training, although not as intense.
The Package
One of the best things about Fat Loss Factor is that it comes with a host of bonus items to supplement the main content. These include the following:
  • The Master Cleanse Video – It is important when you’re just starting out with the program.
  • The Fat Loss Factor starter guide and blueprint.
  • The main program eBook.
  • The exercise log – This is what you use to track your exercise progress. It’s a good way to keep motivated and stick to your goals.
  • Workout guides and videos.
  • A shopping guide for groceries – This might seem farfetched, but the truth is that a lot of people out there need guidance when shopping for healthy groceries.
  • Monitoring and goal setting guide – If you don’t have the discipline to motivate yourself, this guide is what you need. You’ll find it easier to stick to the nutrition plan as well as the exercise regime.
The Fat Loss Factor system is ideal for people who have tried all other guides and have failed to lose fat. That being said, this is no magic bullet to your weight problems. You must be willing to stick through with the nutrition plan as well as the training.
Verdict
Fat Loss Factor is worth a try for anyone that is struggling to lose weight. It’s not a walk in the park but it sure does work if followed correctly and diligently.
